If you can handle of course..

A couple of months ago my best friend Birdy and I came up with this idea that every 2 weeks(usually our pay days) we would each contribute 25 dollars and buy an 8th of marijuana and smoke out every person we encountered that smoked weed. The idea wasn't just to get high and be low life pot heads like most people label us, but to meet new people, socialize with different groups of kids that we would never have under different circumstances. And so began dt50me . It has quickly turned into more than an excuse to get high, but a social event amongst our friends, trading music interests, life storys, random adventures, and an excuse to just be kids in this tough world. I know it's been a long time, well too long to be honest. But let's just act like we we're never apart.

Today the King took a monumental step towards our ultimate dream, we started making shirts. I know it's kinda, well, late. But better late than never right? To be honest it's a process that takes longer than either of us expected. It should be fun though, a new adventure for the Bird and the King. Look out soon for shirts and shit, it's gonna be ill.

Also, today XV dropped a new song, "Boss Level," I really like the lyrics. But, it's over a Skrillex beat, nothing against him. But it's kinda overdone the whole "OH HEY LOOK IM RAPPING OVER A DUBSTEP BEAT!" kind of song. Don't get me wrong, Chris Webby's Raising the Bar and XV's 30,000 Feet Up are two very good songs that have dubstep beats. But the beat isn't really like the other dubstep out there. Which is a good and bad thing really.

Anyways, lately I have been listening to a lot of Big Sean. Specifically his new album "Finally Famous: The Album" which surprised me. First off it's one of the best albums I've ever heard. A lot of people don't like it and have compared it to "Rolling Papers" which is sort of accurate, but I just love Big Sean's delivery so much. It's not fast or anything, and the punchlines are hilarious which a big plus for me. I'm not going to rate it persay, but I will say you should get your hands on it, it's worth it really.
