If you can handle of course..

A couple of months ago my best friend Birdy and I came up with this idea that every 2 weeks(usually our pay days) we would each contribute 25 dollars and buy an 8th of marijuana and smoke out every person we encountered that smoked weed. The idea wasn't just to get high and be low life pot heads like most people label us, but to meet new people, socialize with different groups of kids that we would never have under different circumstances. And so began dt50me . It has quickly turned into more than an excuse to get high, but a social event amongst our friends, trading music interests, life storys, random adventures, and an excuse to just be kids in this tough world. Sit back burn one up and enjoy the music and art we have posted. If you have any ideas for music or want your music or art posted just send us an email to dt50me@gmail.com

SOPA and PIPA, a rant

as i was getting ready for bed, i realized, if SOPA or PIPA passes, it’s the end of the internet’s “Golden Age,” and that kinda bummed me out until i realized that people will actually leave their house and live their lives instead of being chained to technology on a, literally, second to second basis

---

the thing about so called “golden ages” is that, eventually, it comes to an end. but to people living in it, they think that life will continue the way it has been or that it will improve and evolve. maybe the internet will stay the way it is, maybe it will change for the worse, we won’t know until we’re history.

i hope both SOPA and PIPA don’t pass, because i grew up with internet and technology, and i honestly don’t know what i’d do on a day to day basis without internet. but, as i’ve been told, i’m a defeatist and a pessimist, so if they do pass, then i’ll probably go outside and enjoy the world with all my senses more than i do now

DT50ME Goes to...Part II

So we arrive in Vegas, at the Luxor. The stage is set, well not LITERALLY, but for the purpose of this story it is. So we walk into the Luxor, LIKE FUCKING BOSSES, find our way to the nearest bar, and I hope to drink. I didn't. So we left and started to head out to New York New York. Keep in mind that we are walking everyone. "fuck drinking and driving, I'd rather get high and fly" -Big Sean. ANYWAYS. We walk to New York New York and I abruptly take a shot of Bombay Sapphire when we get there. Honestly, I don't know why I drink it other than the fact that it's like 100 proof and fucks you up right quick. So we walk around the Strip, me with drink in hand, the King, swag on swell. While walking like bosses, I, like a fucking idiot, drop my drink. I know, kick my ass I deserve it. So, me now drinkless, continue walking. We go to a couple more casinos but nothing really noteworthy happens. Well, everything we do is noteworthy, but if you have ever really kicked it with us, you pretty much know what we did. We make our final stop before the show at some random casino. There we find the greatest fucking deal probably of all time. 48 ounces of Coors Light or Miller Light, I know it's nasty but here's the best part, FOR SEVEN FUCKING DOLLARS. And it came with in a nifty little bucket, not a pitcher, A FUCKING BUCKET. Bucket in hand, we set out back to find the House of Blues, all while I somehow drink from the bucket. The one thing you have to know if you have never been to Vegas, is that they hand out free porn. It's kinda weird at first but you get used to it. Walking down the Vegas Strip at dusk is honestly something I will probably never forget, it's just beautiful, well to me it is. So we find our way back to the Luxor and continue our search for the elusive House of Blues. I look on Google Maps, which has now saved my ass too many times to count, and it says the House of Blues is in Mandalay Bay, which is opulent as fuck if you have never been there. We enter, and see it, finally, the House of Blues...

DT50ME goes to... Part I

Right after, ok maybe the next day or the day after that, the King had a slight revelation. Well, it was more of a great fucking idea. He asked me if I wanted to mob it to Vegas to see Pac Div Casey Veggies and some white kid. I was hesitant at first, then I realized something. It's. Fucking. Vegas. So I agreed. Tickets were bought, money withdrawn. Thursday morning, we set out. It was to be an epic day. Right as we hit the San Bernadino/Victorville area we both stumbled upon a thought, Vegas is really fucking far. I kinda had an idea, but the King had never been there, so to him it was an all new adventure. We stopped in Barstow as I always do, I've made it a tradition for myself and whoever is with me when I travel through Barstow. El Pollo Loco was our choice of grub. While there the lady asked for my name, I, of course said "Thunderbird" then i looked at my recipt it said "Tonderbird" I cried a little on the inside. But whatever that isn't the point of the story. The point is we ate and left. Next stop Vegas. The next 2 or 3 hours consisted of non-stop music, mostly Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa, pointless but incredibly deep banter and of course THE FUCKING DESERT! Finally, after an hour of the King's relentless "Are we there yet?" we hit our destination. Vegas. Here we are. We parked at the Luxor, but this was just the beginning of the greatest fucking time of my life...

to be continued...

Nov 6 2011

I'll post this without really putting anyone on blast. With that being said, everything happens for a reason.

It starts off with me, Birdy, buying tickets for a Mac Miller show. My intention was to sell them for a massive profit. Basically, I didn't. I invited a certain someone, and they, they couldn't make it. Sad face I know. After this I was fully prepared to just not go. Fortunately, the King's invitee canceled or whatevs, the point is I was now going. We mob it up to Hollywood with the King's cousin. A royal affair in reality. We get there a tad bit late and end up standing towards the back. Casey Veggies opened. Now, for the record, the 3rd time seeing him was probably the best. His live show did improve by leaps and bounds in my opinion. He did his thang and a new group came on. Now, by new I do not mean young and fresh, I mean a group we had yet to see. People Under the Stairs. Now the King loves them. I, personally, had never really heard them before. But wow. That have a nice live show. If you ever get the chance PLEASE go see them, it's really enjoyable. After they did their set, we waited for like 45 minutes for Mac Miller to come on. At this point, the King and I had realized something, there were a shit ton of white teenagers there. I don't mean 17-19, I mean 13-16. Real Teenagers. Mac Miller did his bit, which was good. But nothing I really got down to. His show has improved I admit. But after all, he is white. Did about 4 rock songs, which by all means is impressive. But for me, I paid for a rap show, not a rock concert. He ended and we skedaddled. This was an exciting night, but it was missing one thing for the King and I. No not females or weed, which it was. It was missing Pac Div...

10:09

Halloween was pretty intense this year. My heart goes out to tarzan, who got the living hell stomped out of him. I mean I understand acting a fool and getting your ass kicked, but to get jumped by 20 heads? Damn thats just shady. We went to some sick ass parties meet new people got some numbers. You know how wee doo. Birdy was a banana which was pretty hilarious till he got eaten by a shark. It makes sense if you dont think about it. Anyways Ive been drawing alot more, I cant really draw cause I fucked up my pinky but I manage.

Shirts are on hold again -_______________- its really frustrating, money is a big issue. It doesn't help I hit a lady going 10 MPH and she sued me for $1,700. I ain't complaining but damn, I swear you overcome one obstacle only to have 46 in the way. With time comes success. Everything is a lesson.

A little remix I thought of

I know, I should go to hell for doing this. But I think it's fucking genius, and that's all that matters:

In west Orange County
born and raised
on the playground is where I spent
most of my days
chilling out, maxing
and relaxing all cool
and all shooting some marbles
outside of school
when a couple of stoners
they were up to no good
started getting high in our neighborhood
i took one little puff and my mom got scared
she said your moving
in with your auntie and uncle in Tulare

i whisted for a cab and when it came near
the license plate said Kush
and had a piece under the mirror
if anything i could say that this cab was rare
but i thought nah, forget it
yo ho to Tulare!

i-pulled- up to a house about seven or eight
i yelled to the cabbie peace out, smoke ya later
looked at my kingdom i was finally there
to sit on my throne as the prince of Tulare
