One of the most important things I learned from Boy Scouts was to always be prepared. Be you a pothead of modest use (once a week) or the avid enthusiast, one should invest the effort to create a stoner kit. This kit is your drug headquarters, forget losing your shit ever again. It's all in one place! I have included my own personal kit as an example of some good ideas, so that all you cool kids can pull together your own! Here's what I've got:
1. The Box: The box is up to you, it can be small or it could be big. I just went to walmart and got a nice plastic toolbox. It's nice because it has a lot of compartments to store your neato drug paraphernalia! Decorate the outside too, I put my favourite quote from the movie "Friday" on mine.
2. A dank ass grider: I borrowed my friend's for this one, but one should always have a grinder. Get out of the stone age.
3. A poke: This allen wrench is the best poke I have ever encountered in all of my stoner adventures. A poke is necessary to all of your rolling/ bowl packing needs.
4. Baggies: You never know when you'll need to store a nug.
5. Plastic container/party tin: These are a nifty must have for the party going stoner. A plastic container makes grinding by hand far easier. I have a Beatles joint tin that my friend got me from liverpool; throwing joints in your pocket just does not cut it my son.
6. Papers: .... Papers, always have em around.
7. Spare Lighters: No more walking down to the 7-11, just keep some in your kit.
MY PIECES:
I've included my piece collection just for shits, getting a box big enough to house at least some of your pieces is a good idea. Here are some of mine:
8. "It's Gonna Break": My zong, shes a killer.
9. "Bubbles": Another loaner but permanent guest in my room, my friend's bubbler. Very smooth rips.
10. "The Eyes of Ganesh": This is a pretty exotic piece, it's called a chilum. I picked this one up in London, in the strangest place I've ever been: Camden Town Market. This same model of pipe has been used by humans for over 10,000 years and is still mostly used in India to smoke fat trees.
11. "The Pride of Norwich": My oldest piece, the Pride is a nice basic piece that can easily fit into pockets. I love her dearly, but she's old and goin' the way of old yeller.
RANDOM NECESSITIES
12. Pencil and Spliff Holder: Pencils are good as pokes, or for aid in rolling. A spliff holder, though not necessary, is a great way of transporting blunts and large joints.
13. Roach paper: If you roll with roaches.
Thats my kit, hopefully this will inspire at least one of you to create one. Trust me, you wont regret it.
