I've always wanted to do something like this and since now i have the time to do it i thought why not. I'm 20 years old and standing on the threshold of life, the road is foggy ahead and it seems the only way to find out whats on the other side is to cross into the unknown. I'm not going to lie its been a crazy life already and knowing that i haven't begun to experience what life is truly about is kinda of frightening.
A couple of months ago my best friend Thunderbird and I came up with this idea that every 2 weeks(usually our pay days) we would each contribute 25 dollars and buy an 8th of marijuana and smoke out every person we encountered that smoked weed. The idea wasn't just to get high and be low life pot heads like most people label us, but to meet new people, socialize with different groups of kids that we would never have under different circumstances. And so began dt50me (Daoud and Thunderbirds $50 marijuana extravaganza). It has quickly turned into more than an excuse to get high, but a social event amongst our friends, trading music interests, life storys, random adventures, and an excuse to just be kids in this tough world.
